The GMO Blues (a.k.a. The Organicular Blues)

There was a young man who ate GMOs.
He ate GMOs owned by Monsanto.
But he didn't know he ate GMOs,
No labels you know.

The young man was fat, so he drank diet juice
He drank diet juice, laced with sucraloose,
Laced with sucraloose – and pesticide too(s)
He drank sucralose and pesticide juice,
while he ate GMOs.
But he didn't know - he ate GMOS,
No labels you know.

That same young man ate herbicides.
He ate herbicides, on his veg-e-ta-bles.
He ate herbicides, while he drank sucraloose,
He drank sucraloose and pesticide juice,
while he ate GMOs.
But he didn't know - he ate GMOs
No labels you know.

And this young man also took antibiotics,
Antibiotics with his CAFO meat,
He ate CAFO meat, well, because it was cheap,
He ate herbicides, while he drank sucraloose,
He drank sucraloose and pesticide juice,
while he ate GMOs.
But he didn't know - he ate GMOs
No labels you know.

There was a young man on growth hormones.
He didn't inject them – they came in the milk.
Like antibiotics in his CAFO meat,
He ate CAFO meat, well, because it was cheap,
He ate herbicides, while he drank sucraloose,
He drank sucraloose and pesticide juice,
while he ate GMOs.
But he didn't know - he ate GMOs
No labels you know.

There was a young chemist,
bred a horse with a grain,
Crossing plants with animals, again and again.
It's crazy what's done, for financial gain.
Expecting to sell “a grain with a mane”?

There was a young man who ate "grain bred with horse",
He died of course.

But this is not, the end of the story,
His lot a garden plot – no gravestone glory.
When that garden grew plants, as was the intent.
GMOs sued him - for breaking patent.
